Cape Verde Capital (CV) is an investor in sustainability with particular focus on renewable energy. Cape Verde Capital Management (CVM), as the investment manager, identifies opportunities for CV to invest for a period of three to five years, taking minority interest equity stakes in companies requiring capital for growth and expansion. CVM will consider businesses that can demonstrate a real base from which to grow, have a credible business plan and a management team with a track record to support the business plan.

As a Wates family enterprise, CVM has the ability to assist businesses operating within the built environment in developing a strategy for profitable growth. Businesses that design, install and maintain renewable energy solutions are of particular interest where CVM can bring many years of sector knowledge and a network of contacts. An investment range of between £250k and £1.5million will be considered with a combination of equity and debt dependant on the business requirements.
